STILLPOINT TEA -- A WONDERFUL HERBAL TONIC IN THE ESSIAC TRADITION (Also known as FORTICEL and NATIVE AMERICAN TEA)
If you know about Essiac Tea -- developed from a herbal formula an Ojibwa (Chippewa) medicine man gave to Canadian nurse Rene Caisse in 1922 -- then you know about StillPoint Tea. (“Essiac” is Caisse spelled backwards, and “Essiac Tea” is now a trademark of a Canadian company.)
Miss Caisse’s formulas (she had more than one, apparently) were made public years later, presumably in accordance with her wishes that they be disseminated to as much of Mankind as possible. The ingredients in StillPoint Tea are the same as for her four herb formula with the addition of Red Clover which Caisse sometimes added to her tea and which is in the eight-herb formula. The herbs, roots and bark used in StillPoint Tea are certified organically grown and infused in pure structured water. A medical doctor formulates and brews the mixture in stainless steel vats and ensures the highest quality possible. The water to herb ratio is 32:1.
INGREDIENTS and USAGE and RELATIONSHIP TO FORTICEL
Besides the Red Clover Herb (Trifolium pratense - 6%), the mixture consists of Burdock Root (Articum lappa - 50%), Sheep Sorrel Herb (Rume’s acetosella - 25%), Slippery Elm Bark (Ulmus fulva - 17%), Turkey Rhubarb Root (Rheum palmatum - 2%) and Citric Acid which is added as a pH adjuster. If you recognize this particular lineup, it may be because it’s exactly the same as “Forticel” (but with the substitution of structured water for the liquid medium) which used to be carried by Jean’s Greens. StillPoint Tea is carefully brewed by the same medical doctor who, until recently, made Forticel for Jean’s Greens using the identical formula. It's also the same formula for Native American Tea.
The product is a liquid (of course) and is brought to you in dark brown (amber) 16.8 Fl. Oz. (500 ml.) glass bottles – not plastic – and does not use alcohol as a preservative. This is the equivalent of almost 17 servings per bottle when diluted 1:1 with spring water.
The directions read to shake well before each use which is one ounce up to three times per day diluted in equal parts of water. It is best taken on an empty stomach. That translates to two of those times being (1) before breakfast and (2) before retiring. Refrigerate after opening.
We purvey individual 16.8 ounce bottles for only $14 plus shipping. A case of 12-bottles costs even less per bottle ($10 a bottle). We do not offer the dry mix, at least not yet, but hope to in the future. Shipping is related to weight and distance and to the fact that these are dark amber glass (not plastic) bottles filled with the precious liquid. Therefore, they require special protection. Actual cost depends upon destination. We ship our StillPoint Tea brew within the U.S.
We will ship outside the U.S. and overseas on demand with the proviso that buyer orders in case lots, only, pays all costs for air express to the destination, and accepts total responsibility for breakage or loss in transit including within the destination country’s customs, shipping or postal systems. We will guarantee each case leaves here intact and with reasonable precautions taken to protect the product en route, but all sales outside the U.S. are final.
We do not offer free shipping as we do for the Miracle II products found elsewhere on this website. Instead, we offer one very large quantity discount.
